Saga, Shura e Camus proseguono la corsa lungo la scalinata del Grande Tempio; due fiaccole della meridiana sono già spente.
"This is the House of Cancer!" ansima Saga.
"Now that Death Mask isn't here, the house should be empty!" commenta Camus.
"Hurry! Let's go to Athena's room!" esorta Shura.
I tre giungono all'ingresso del Tempio di Cancer, circondato da una strana aura.

[Temporary Meeting]

"Who's emanating the cosmos that is coming from this house? What's... What's happened..." chiede Saga.
"No... But this isn't a cosmos, it seems to be from the spirits of the dead!" risponde Shura.
"Yeah. Looks like they're leading us through Hell's gate..." aggiunge Camus.
"Could it be..." conclude Saga camminando verso l'entrata, non del tutto convinto.
"Saga!" esclama Shura.
Saga entra nel tempio da solo, mentre gli altri due rimangono indietro spaventati.
"Saga!" esclama anche Camus.
I due sono allarmati e si precipitano all'interno del tempio, ma di Saga non c'è nessuna traccia. Shura e Camus, quindi, proseguono per i corridoi.

Ad un tratto, si trovano in un'altra dimensione, quella del Sekishiki: centinaia di zombie si stanno buttando nella bocca di Ade. Anche Saga è finito nella valle dei morti.
"But this is..." Shura è spaventato.
"It's the Yomotsu (Slopes of the Dead) Hirasaka (Hill)!" spiega Saga "The interior of the House of Cancer... has been transformed... into the underworld."
"Somebody's trying to prevent us from crossing through this house, if anyone of us falls into that pit..." aggiunge Camus, riferendosi al posto da cui sono venuti "Someone wants to bring us back?"
"Impossible!" riponde Shura seccato "This is an illusion created by somebody."
"There's no doubt!" concorda Saga "But who has the amazing power to create an illusion like that?"

Ad un tratto, sbucano decine di mani dal terreno e fuoriescono degli zombie.
"Saga!" esclama Shura, ma ormai gli zombie li hanno afferrati.
"These are..." si chiede Camus intrappolato.
"These are all dead bodies that are vacating between the two worlds!" risponde Saga, quasi ricoperto di cadaveri.
 

Intanto, Shiryu è arrivato al Grande Tempio, con l'armatura riposta nello scrigno. Il luogo sembra deserto.
"This really is a strange place... Are we even still in the Sanctuary? I wish I will find my master in safety! I will have to rely on my cosmos to find him. No, I don't have time to waste! I must go help my master!"
Shiryu inizia a correre, quando viene improvvisamente colpito da una sfera infuocata.
"Who's here?! I know this cosmos..."

"Begone!"
Con un'emanazione di cosmo, Saga, Shura e Camus riescono a liberarsi degli zombie e a farli scomparire.
"Dammit! How could somebody create an illusion like that?!" si chiede Saga seccato.
"Saga... You don't know who it is? You found Kanon's cosmos in the House of Gemini, he was in the master room!" interviene Camus.
"Whos amazing cosmos could this be? He must be very powerful... He must be an admirable enemy!" commenta Shura.
Ad un tratto, sbucano fuori altri zombie ed i tre sono costretti a farsi largo a suon di pugni.
"For sure! The illusions have come back!"
Ogni volta che uno zombie viene sconfitto e scompare, se ne riformano di nuovi.
"I don't know who's creating this illusion, but he's certainly trying to send us to the other world! Take that! Galaxian Explosion!!!"
Saga scaglia un colpo di incredibile potenza, spazzando via gli zombie rimasti e aprendo un varco dimensionale. Alla fine, i tre si ritrovano di nuovo alla quarta casa.

"Oh... the illusion is gone..." constata Camus con sollievo.
"Who is trying to keep us in this house playing with us? Is there somebody following us?" chiede Saga con tono indifferente.
"Yeah! They're following us very closely. That was very close, we were almost hurt. Aldebaran's cosmos is gone. One of us must wait here to kill them." risponde Camus.
A chi si stanno riferendo? Il tempio sembra deserto...
Shura si prepara con Excalibur:
"Really hateful being followed. Could just one of us defeat all of them?"
"No! This will be a mistake. They will discover us and then kill us quickly. Searching for Athena is most important now! Must reach Athena..." ordina Saga.
"Must reach Athena..." ripetono in coro Shura e Camus, mettendosi a correre.

Intanto, Shiryu è alle prese con il suo misterioso aggressore.
"You are...?"
Si tratta di Ikki!
"You came back from the Five Peaks."
"Ikki! Why are you attacking me?"
"Athena prohibited you to go back to the Sanctuary, to fight for her. To protect us from the menace." spiega Ikki tranquillamente.
"What are you talking about?" Shiryu è nervoso.
"Athena thinks that the Bronze Saints will just get in the way!"
"Are you telling me that you're going to run away? Ikki! You're one the Athena's Saints! Don't you want to fight, too?"
Ikki impiega qualche secondo a rispondere:
"I don't want to fight against anybody!"
"What did you say? Then, why did you come here?!"
"I came here just to see how the things are going, you can see the extent of the threat."
"You... How can you say that you won't fight?! Why could you become like this?"
Shiryu si scaglia su Ikki, scagliandogli due pugni, ma Ikki schiva facilmente e lo afferra per il collo, per poi lasciarlo andare.
"Shiryu... Why are you so loyal to this Athena's Saints thing? It's to protect yourself... And she even asked you to stay away!"
"You're wrong! Nobody forced me! And Athena didn't order that!"
"Then... why?"
"It's because I decided to protect Athena, my friends and all Humanity... that believe in us!"
Ikki ghigna.
"What? I made you laugh?"
Shiryu attacca di nuovo il compagno, che respinge facilmente il colpo e lo atterra.
"What do you want to do in that condition? You can't even see!"
"I don't have a reason to be here? I will fight! For me... and for my respect towards my friends! If you want to retain me, I... I'll... " esclama Shiryu espandendo il suo cosmo, mentre Ikki resta ancora tranquillo.
"You're the same with those stupid sods..."
"What are you saying?" chiede Shiryu, ricomponendosi.
"Over there! Your another friend, ... is a same stupid sod as you." risponde Ikki, andandosene via.
"Another? Seiya! Wait, Ikki! Join us!"
"You know that... I don't like to walk with a troop." conclude Ikki, senza voltarsi.
"Ikki..."

Il terzo fuoco della meridiana si sta spegnendo. Sion e Dauko sono ancora fermi alla Casa dell'Ariete, senza combattere.
"The first three flames from the fire clock are extinguishing. Very soon, the flame belonging to the House of Gemini'll be extinguished, too!" commenta Sion "Anything wrong with the House of Cancer? These three still there... why are they taking so long to get out from the House of Cancer?"
Il vecchio Dauko ridacchia:
"They must be in danger inside the house!"
"What did you said?"
"The most probable thing to occur is they have gone back to were they came from."
"Very good! In your place I would never say that, Dohko. Looks like you'll die like the others and one day we'll meet each other again. In the last Holy War, among all the knights that fought at Athena's side, we were the only knights that survived. The new Holy War will be more intensive. Probably this time there won't be survivors. All the Saints will die! And the first victims will be the Gold Saints, guardians of the Zodiac Houses." spiega Sion sorridendo.
"What a pity, you don't have enough time!"

"Seiya! Seiya! Seiya! Seiya!"
Shiryu trova l'amico disteso nell'Arena e lo soccorre. E' solo leggermente ferito.
"What... I'm inside the Coliseum, where I fought to receive my first armour." sussurra Seiya confuso, con accanto il suo scrigno.
"But why... here?"
"Mu... Mu saved my life, he sent me here."
"Mu...?"
"Shiryu... It's really you, what are you doing here?"
"Ikki told me that you were here."
"Ikki, he's here?! This is great!" Seiya sembra essersi ripreso bene ed è pieno di entusiasmo "With him by our side we will have sufficient power to defeat enemies!"
Shiryu, però, non risponde e Seiya si preoccupa:
"What happened? Where's Ikki? He isn't with you?"
"Ikki won't come. He said that he has no reasons to fight."
"What? But... how could he say that?! The flame from the House of Gemini is almost extinct..."
"You remember the last time we saw this flame burning..."
"Yes... That time we were saving Athena's life. Ikki... Are you afraid? What's happening to you?!" frigna Seiya stringendo i pugni "I am sick of it! We don't need your help!"
"No. Ikki backing out doesn't mean that he'll never come back. He's just like this! You know very clearly, don't you?"
"What are you thinking, Shiryu?! We'll never leave the Sanctuary!"
"It's the same thing, same that happened to Mu... We mustn't think about this now. I wish that one day you'll understand."
"If you say so..." sdrammatizza Seiya. Shiryu sorride.
"But you'd better think of that how to go with Athena now. As soon as I think of enemies..."
"Those tottery spectre who went out from the state of death aren't my opponent at all. Let's go, Shiryu."
I due si caricano gli scrigni sulle spalle e si dirigono verso la battaglia, mentre Ikki li osserva dalle gradinate, senza farsi notare:
"Fetter! Shun, you too?"

Intanto, Saga, Shura e Camus stanno ancora percorrendo i corridoi della quarta casa, ma senza trovare via d'uscita. Quindi, si fermano per fare il quadro della situazione.
"Don't you think that this is very strange? They say that you can run through this house for hours." commenta Shura.
"But it seems as if all that has passed are some minutes..." precisa Camus.
"Anyway this is bullshit, this must be another illusion." afferma Saga "Could be a holy power... Somebody must having fun with us. Where did this cosmos come from?"
Ad un tratto, c'è una luce molto intensa proveniere dal corridoio.
"This light is..."
"Perfect! We escaped from the illusion!" Shura è contento perchè pensa che si tratti dell'uscita, ma Saga è diffidente.
I tre corrono verso la luce, ma poi si interrompono.
"Saga! What's that?" chiede Camus allarmato.
"This is not an exit! We're..."

Improvvisamente, lo spazio intorno a loro cambia: ora si trovano sulla mano del Buddha, cioè nel sesto mondo della Dimenticanza.
"We're in the palm of Buddha's hand!" esclama Saga.
"This is impossible! I thought that we had run for hours!" Shura è sull'orlo di una crisi e si accascia a terra.
"But according to the Buddhist tradition, we just ran around Buddha's hand!" constata Camus.
"I understand now! There's just one man who has the power to do all that we saw here. It's the man that is closest to God... The Virgo Saint, Shaka!" spiega Saga.
Viene visualizzata la sesta casa, con Shaka in profonda meditazione, come conferma di quanto ipotizzato.
"Shaka of Virgo!" ripete Camus come un pappagallo.
"Then it was him who created these illusions and fooled around with us!" aggiunge Shura.
"Now that we know who's doing this, we can counter-attack!" esclama Saga "Shaka! Your game ends here! You will be the next Gold Saint to die! It will be you, Shaka!!"
Saga scaglia una sfera viola di energia, colpendo la statua del Buddha e facendola svanire.

Ora si ritrovano di nuovo alla quarta casa.
"The illusion of Buddha is gone!" Camus è sollevato.
"Finally we can get out of here!" Shura è speranzoso.
"No, not completely..." li interrompe Saga.
"What?"
"There's the underworld, next it's Buddha. As long as Shaka's still alive... the illusion won't disappear."
"And we have to find the creator, Shaka!" aggiunge Camus.
"Right... Look!"
Migliaia di mani sbucano dal pavimento e iniziano ad ondeggiare, sbarrando la strada.
"There are more illusions than my eyes can take in..." commenta Camus, mentre Shura ha un tick all'occhio:
"Shaka, you're trying to prevent us from getting out of here..."
"Do you believe that you can hold us here forever?" si chiede Camus.
"No, Shaka really knows it's impossible to do that, defeat all 3 of us... We'll waste our time here before the flames of the fire clock will disappear! To hold us with all these illusions is exactly what he wants to do! You must die! Shaka!"

Saga scaglia un colpo di straordinaria potenza che esce dalla quarta casa. Aioria, alla quinta casa, se ne accorge ed è allarmato:
"It's coming from the House of Cancer... again... It's the same cosmos attacked the Pope's room, it's going to the House of Virgo. Oh my God! With all this power the House of Virgo will be turned into dust! Shaka!"
Infatti, crolla il tetto della sesta casa.
"You've got him?" domanda Shura.
"Yes... At least I woke Shaka up!" risponde Saga "He created a perfect protection wall to prevent him from suffering my attack!"
Shaka, quindi, si è salvato ed è illeso. Li contatta telepaticamente:
"Camus, Shura, and you, Saga. Even if today you're serving Hades, before you were on the same side with us, Athena's Saints. Because of this reason, I wish I'd never have to hold you like this!"
Shaka unisce le mani ed espande il suo cosmo, preparandosi ad un attacco a distanza.
"Shaka's cosmos... It's going to get burning!" Saga è proccupata, dal momento che Shaka è avvolto da un'aura cosmica come i petali intorno allo stame.
"Ohm... Tenma Kofuku (The Demon Surrender)!"
Shaka bombarda la quarta casa con il suo colpo.

Seiya avverte l'esplosione:
"What was that? From the House of Cancer to the House of Virgo, but it's contrary on the nose..."
"Ya... I felt Shaka's cosmos..." gli risponde Shiryu "Hurry, let's go! Something really big is about to happen."
"Yes"
I due si dirigono sulla scalinata.
 

Anche Sion si è accorto dell'esplosione ed è preoccupato:
"What a giant cosmos... Then they three disappeared, it couldn't be..."
"By Shaka's leading... they could have gone back. Are you worried, Shion? Because of your lovely friends?" lo stuzzica Dauko.
"If this attack was perfectly made, there is nothing that they could do!" pensa Sion, iniziando a correre per superare la prima casa e aiutarli a concludere la missione.
"Where are you going? You'll stay here, there's no escape."
"Really? Dohko, you forgot about me?" Sion si ferma "My old friend, you'll fight against me! I wish I'd never have to fight you. But sooner or later, this battle had to happen!"
"Let's end this now, face to face!"
"Are you ready, Dohko?"
"I'm ready, Shion!"
I due mettono in posizione da battaglia, preparandosi allo scontro.
