Seiya e gli altri sono arrivati giusto in tempo per salvare i Gold Saints.
"I'll tell you who we are... Athena's saints!" risponde Seiya.
"And what are you doing here?" chiede Rhadamantis.
"To protect Athena, of course!" risponde Shiryu.
"Then, in Athena's name..." dichiara Shun, con in spalla Aioria.
"...Defeat Hades." conclude Hyoga.
"First the big boys, now the little ones." commenta Rhadamantis.
"All the havoc you spectres have brought upon us, now I'll give it all back. Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken!"
Sembra che i vari fulmini siano andati a segno, Rahadamantis non ha fatto nulla per pararli.
"I did it!" esclama Seiya contento.
Ma in realtà Rhadamantis li ha bloccati tutti con una sola mano e si mette a ridere di gusto!

[The dawn of the decision]

"You make me laugh!" esclama Rhadamantis, sbattendo i Bronzi a terra, con delle semplici emanazioni di energia.
"Alright... now it's our turn, you're going down..." ribatte Seiya furioso.
"Seiya... don't..." lo interrompe Mur scoraggiato.
"Mu!"
"Andromeda, put your chains away." ordina Aioria malridotto.
"Get out of here, Bronze Saints!" ordina Milo con l'artiglio pronto.
"Not even if it's coming from you Gold Saints, we will never back down!" risponde Shiryu.
"That's right, Shiryu, we'll never back down!" conferma Seiya.
"Alright. Athena's saints, then I'll be sending all of you to hell then!" interviene Rhadamantis, interrompendo la scenetta con un potente fascio di luce viola.
I Bronze Saints stanno per essere colpiti, quando i Gold Saints si mettono in mezzo facendo da scudo.
"Mu, what are you doin?! Stop it!" prega Seiya.
"Milo!" esclamano Shiryu e Hyoga, quando Milo cade a terra.
"Why?" chiede Shun ad Aioria.
"Time to finish it..." comunica Rhadamantis, pronto al prossimo attacco.
"Finish it? Let's see you try, if you can!" risponde Seiya, pronto alla lotta, ma Mur lo ferma, abbracciandolo alle spalle.
"Seiya... We have only one request, that is to leave this to us. You go on ahead." spiega Mur.
"Mu, we can't do that."
"We Gold Saints will be that spectre's opponents." cerca di convincerlo Mur tranquillamente.
"Hurry! Go! Go and help Saga and the others!" ordina Milo.
"Once the battle starts, you mustn't go easy. This guy, we'll handle it!" spiega Aioria.
"Mu, Milo... Aioria." interviene Shun.
"Could it be... Mu!" dice Seiya.
"Seiya, trust me." esorta Mur.
"I understand, Mu."
"Goodbye, Seiya."

"Shun, Hyoga, Shiryu, let's go." ordina Seiya.
"As you asked." risponde Hyoga.
"We leave this to you." conferma Shiryu.
"We'll be waiting for you." augura Shun.
I quattro Bronze Saints entrano di corsa nel castello, lasciando la battaglia contro Rhadamantis ai tre Gold Saints esausti.
"Gold Saints final stand, hmm? Ashamed to let the others see yourselves in your current state?" commenta Rhadamantis.
"Final stand? Call it whatever you want." risponde Milo, espandendo a malapena il cosmo.
"The gift of friendship, from Athena... has already left us." idem Aioria.
Tutti espandono il cosmo per lo scontro finale.
Dopo di che, vengono inquadrati i Bronzi che corrono nel castello, lasciando la scena di battaglia all'immaginazione del telespettatore. Si sentono solo le voci.
"Farewell, Gold Saints!"
"Stardust Revolution!"
"Scarlet Needle!"
"Lightning Plasma!"
"Greatest Caution!"
"Seiya... Could it be... Mu and the others?" si ferma Shun.
"Don't talk about it, Shun." lo zittisce Shiryu.
"Didn't Mu tell us to go help Saga and the others? This is what we must do right now." spiega Seiya.
"Mm!" annuisce Shun.
"Lets' go!" esorta Shiryu.
I quattro riprendono la corsa lungo il corridoio.
Anche se non si vede, i tre Gold Saints perdono lo scontro e precipitano nella voragine per l'inferno.

Nel frattempo, nella stanza di Pandora si apre una porta.
"The surface of this Earth no longer holds any interest for Lord Hades. Now I will be returning to Lord Hades." comunica Pandora.
"You can leave everything to Zeros." le suggerisce Zeros.
"Have fun..."
Pandora entra nella nuova stanza e richiude la porta dietro di sè. Si tratta di una lunga scalinata a spirale che scende fino all'inferno. In mezzo c'è una voragine attraversata dal fascio di luce verde. Pandora scende lentamente le scale da sola.
"Lady Pandora, I understand, now let me handle everything... You hear that? Gold Saints? Lord Hades have left me, Zeros, in charge!" esclama Zeros soddisfatto.
"Looking forward to death, are we? Looks like you've already lost." riflette Camus moribondo a terra.
"What did you say? You've already died once. I Zeros will show you the meaning of death! Like this..."
Zeros si vendica prendendo Camus a calci, consapevole che non può reagire e che neanche gli altri si alzeranno da terra, in quanto moribondi.
"Who dares challenge I, Lord Zeros... will pay! Weren't you the one who hit me just then? How dare you hit me! Interesting now ain't it?! Remember what happens to those who crosses Zeros! Take that... Take that..."

Zeros sta ridendo di gusto, quando irrompono i 4 Bronze Saints, rompendo il lucernario. Una mattonella cade in testa a Zeros, che sviene momentaneamente. Pandora si accorge di qualcosa, ma continua a scendere le scale indifferente. I Bronze Saints corrono dagli ex-Gold Saints: Hyoga da Camus, Shiryu da Shura, Seiya e Shun da Saga.
"Camu!" esclama Hyoga.
"Stand up Saga, we'll go save Athena!" esclama Seiya.
"Sorry... Now that the real battle have started... we no longer have the strenght to fight..." sussurra Saga aggrappandosi a Seiya per rialzarsi, ma invano.
"What are you saying, Saga?!"
"Don't forget, in your hand... Excalibur..." Shura sussurra le sue ultime parole a  Shiryu.
"Don't forget what I've taught you..." sussurra Camus stra le braccia di Hyoga.
Ormai la stanza è completamente illuminata dal sole. I corpi degli ex-Gold Saints stanno svanendo in polvere di stelle.
"Shura!"
"Athena..." Shura scompare del tutto.
"Our goddess... Camus scompare dalle mani di Hyoga.
"Camu.." frigna Hyoga.
In qualche modo, Saga riesce ad alzarsi in piedi prima di polverizzarsi:
"Athena... Our goddess... We leave her in your hands!"
"Saga!" strilla Seiya.
"We understand... You're leaving many things behind to us... Not just Athena..." pensa Shun.
"But the honour of all Saints." continua Shiryu.
"And well, we'll never forget." Hyoga.
"Those Gold Saints who have dies for love and justice." Seiya.

"Let me tell you something... Camu, who you were kicking just then... He's my master!" frigna Hyoga a Zeros, appena rinvenuto.
"That's what happens to those who oppose Zeros! What? What did you just say? My master... what...? " ribatte Zeros rialzandosi, ma perndendo tutta la sua balzanda non appena Hyoga espande il cosmo.
"Lady Pandora! Please forgive Zeros!" Zeros tenta la fuga.
"My master Camu... Let me bid farewell with this! Aurora Execution!"
Intanto, Lady Pandora sta scendendo le scale mooolto lentamente e sta riflettendo tra sè e sè incurante delle suppliche di Zelos provenienti dall'altra stanza:
"No need to worry. In Hades's underworld what can Athena achieve by herself? Before she can reach Hades, she'll surely perish before that."
"Lady Pandora... Save me! Oh kind Lord Hades... Get rid of these wretches... Lady Pandora..." supplica Zeros mezzo congelato, accedendo alla scalinata. Queste sono le sue ultime parole: cade nella voragine disintegrandosi in tanti cristalli.

Anche i 4 Bronze Saints fanno irruzione nella scalinata. Pandora continua a scendere, incurante di loro.
"Stop! Who is it?" ordina Seiya invano.
"Wait." ordina Shun.
Inaspettatamente, Pandora si ferma e si volta per un attimo. C'è un intenso scambio di sguardi tra Shun e Pandora.
"To think that I'd see a familiar face." pensa Pandora, riprendendo la discesa.
"Wait..." urla Shun.
"Wait, Shun." ordina Seiya.

Ad un tratto, si sente il suono dell'arpa. Si tratta di Rhadamantis, che ha pizzicato qualche corda per attirare l'attenzione dei Bronzi e farsi raggiungere.
"That's the staircase to the underworld. Without Lord Hades's permission, no one can pass."
"You are?" arriva Seiya.
"Still alive? You persistent little rats. Just like those Gold Saints. Do you want to die? Just like those Gold Saints. Among you saints, Gold Saints who were said to be the strongest of all saints. Aioria, Milo and Mu didn't stand a chance against me. Go back to your sanctuary! And visit the poor survivors. That is what you should be doing."
"Poor survivors? Those who fight for love and justice... Is that all you have to say of them?" ribatte Shiryu seccato.
"With our own bodies, we've protected the people of this Earth." interviene Shun.
"Say what you like, but we'll never allow you to speak of the Gold Saints like that!" intima Hyoga.
"You won't allow it? A bit late don't you think? The Gold Saints are already dead." risponde tranquillamente Rhadamantis. I Bronze Saints, invece, sono decisamente nervosi e sull'orlo di una crisi isterica.
"We're still here! We fight with the Gold Saints's spirits by our side! We'll defeat you! Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken!"
Rhadamanis, muovendosi più veloce dei fulmini, si scaglia su Seiya e lo colpisce.
"Seiya!" esclamano gli altri.
Con molta agilità Rhadamantis colpisce fisicamente anche gli altri. Bella la scena in cui usa la catena di Andromeda per strangolare Hyoga.
"So you made me move... Pathetic..." commenta Rhadamantis, dopo aver atterrato tutti.

"Now it's you turn..." ribatte Seiya rialzandosi a fatica.
"What?" risponde Rhadamantis apatico.
"Your turn to be knocked down!" esclama Seiya, espandendo di molto il cosmo.
"Stop."
"Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken!"
Rhadamantis blocca facilmente il colpo, ma la sua armatura viene graffiata in un punto. Molto grave!
"What?!"
Rhadamantis si incavola e prende a pugni Seiya sulla pancia, facendogli sputare del sangue. Poi lo afferra per il collo e lo fa ciondolare sopra la voragine per l'inferno.
"You hurt me, Rhadamantis... not even death at my hands will be enough for you. Only till the brink of death, do you realise how weak you are."
Mentre Rhadamantis si sta divertendo a infierire su Seiya, gli altri 3 Bronze Saints lo circondano per colpirlo alle spalle.
"Nebula Storm!"
"Rozan Sho Ryu Ha!"
"Aurora Thunder Attack!"
Rhadamantis lascia cadere Seiya sui gradini (poteva direttamente buttarlo nella voragine) e si difende tranquillamente dietro alle sue ali, poi contrattacca:
"Greatest Caution!"
Il castello inizia a crollare. I Bronzi sono a terra semisvenuti.
"Not even half my powers... No, one hundredth of my powers... And it's already over?"
Seiya prova a rialzarsi.
"No... Seiya... get out of here... That man... he's too powerful... Seiya, we can't win..." sussurrano Shiryu, Hyoga e Shun.
"Can still hear Mu's voice... Can still feel Saga cheering us one..." risponde Seiya.
"And Camus's spirit..." aggiunge Hyoga.
"Shura and the others, they haven't left us at all." aggiunge Shiryu.
"Mu, Milo... and Aioria. They've the brilliant light which guides us..." continua Hyoga.
"Even though we have no strenght left... But... but... we're proud knowing that we'll never give up all of this!" Shun si rimette a sedere. Ora hanno tutti riacquistato la speranza.
"This... On the brink of death, yet their cosmos still burns as fierce as ever..." riflette Rhadamantis stupito.
"Let's go..." esorta Shiryu rialzandosi insieme agli altri ed espandendo il cosmo.

"You really think you can stand up against me? I'll have none of that!"
Rhadamantis espande il cosmo e i Bronzi vengono spazzati via. Il castello trema. Ormai le mura intorno al campo di battaglia sono crollate.
"Be gone!"
Seiya, l'unico che non si era rialzato in piedi, era rimasto protetto dagli scalini. Solo ora si rialza, pronto alla lotta.
"It's just starting! You thought you could defeat us? We are Athena's saints! Pegasus Sui Sei Ken!"
Seiya, con la variante più potente, riesce a colpire Rhadamantis, che però rimane in piedi.
"How can this be... He hit me head on! I, one of the three judges of the underworld... This one... will not go unpunished! Greatest Caution!"
Seiya viene colpito, ma resta in piedi.
"Let me show you... Athena's saint's true power!"
Seiya sferra un pugno, Rhadamantis lo para con la mano.
"That is... my cosmos!"
L'armatura di Pegasus diventa dorata e Seiya riesce a spingere Rhadamantis qualche passo indietro.
"You..."
"Burn! My cosmos!"
Seiya e Rhadamantis cadono insieme nella voragine.
"Seiya!" esclama Shun, ripresi i sensi. E' appeso miracolosamente alla catena.
"Seiya!" Shiryu invece sta strisciando sull'orlo del baratro.
"Seiya!" Hyoga è quello messo meglio: sta zoppicando.
Stanno crollando intere ali del castello.

L'ultimo fuoco della meridiana si sta spegnendo. Sta albeggiando.
Intanto, Shion sta trascorrendo insieme al giovane Dauko gli ultimi istanti della sua vita al santuario.
"What are you looking at?" chiede Dauko.
"Sanctuary... and all of this..."
"Really? Seiya and the others... In the end, they still ended up going to that place..."
"I feel deeply sorry."
"No one can stop that... It all depends on Arayashiki now..."
"With little or no warning... Shaka and Athena left their last words... Then headed towards the underworld without hesitation... The only way to reach the underworld alive..."
"Any living being has their own little cosmos. Beyond that of the 7th sense, the 8th sense. And even Arayashiki is not impossible."

Mentre Dauko e Shion stanno parlando, si può notare il castello di Pandora che sta crollando.
"Seiya... I believe... is still alive. We.." pensa Hyoga insieme agli altri.
Si ha di nuovo un'inquadratura della meridiana.
"Ah Dohku... If possible, I'd like to have a little chat with you." gli ultimi desideri di Shion.
"What's the hurry, we'll meet again soon enough..."
"Ah yes... been waiting for 243 years already. There's no hurry."
Il corpo di Shion si dissolve. Dauko versa qualche lacrima.
"Till we meet again, farewell... friend..."
Dauko si alza in piedi e ordina.
"Let's go, Kanon."
"At your command." risponde Kanon, con l'armatura dei Gemelli.

"Oh cosmos... burn until there's nothing left to burn... Bring us miracles... We'll meet again in the underworld!" dichiarano Shiryu, Hyoga e Shun, recuperate le forze.
L'ultimo fuoco della meridiana si spegne. Il terreno intorno al castello sta cedendo.
Seiya sta cadendo nella voragine.
"Wait for me... Miss Saori!"
