Vengono ripresi gli ultimi minuti dell'episodio precedente.
"Die, Saint of the Phoenix!"
Shun-Hades si appresta a colpire, ma il suo corpo riesce solo ad emettere qualche scarica elettrica.
"What? What's happening? My body is resisting my will."
Tremolante, la sua mano si alza e si auto-afferra per il collo.
"What? My hand is moving without me controlling it."
"Lord Hades!" esclama Pandora.
"My body is not listening my mind and is attcking myself..." si lamenta Shun-Hades, mentre viene strangolato dalla sua stessa mano.
"What... What is happening?" si chiede Ikki stupito.
Dietro il corpo di Shun-Hades, compare lo spirito del vero Shun.
"Brother..." chiama lo spirito di Sun.
"Shun... I saw Shun's soul..." risponde Ikki.
"Brother... Now... This is the opportunity to defeat Hades. Destroy Hades soul along with my body!" esorta Shun, con un tono da frocio.
"Shun... So it's true..."

"Lord Hades! Unbelieveable, Shun's body actually betrayed Lord Hades. How can this be?" esclama Pandora.
"Shun... It's true that you are doing this to defeat Hades." commebta Ikki commosso.
"What did you say? What is happening? Are you saying that Shun has been allowing Lord Hades to control him for this opportunity?" chiede Pandora.
"Exactly."
"How can this be? Even if it means destroying himself?"
"That's right, Shun is exactly that kinda guy. Just like his Zodiac, Andromeda, he would sacrifiace himself for
peace on the surface. Shun, is deservedly the Saint of Andromeda. Using his own body as a bait for the battle. If sacrifiacing himself can save someone else, he would do it willingly. Then its clear now." spiega Ikki, mentre compare l'immagine della fanciulla Andromeda.
"What?"
"Shun did not come to this world to be Hades' body, but to protect and bring peace to the Earth as the Saint of Andromeda."
"Brother, now's the chance! Brother! Brother..." esorta Shun sorridendo.
"Shun..."

Ikki sta espandendo il cosmo per sferrare l'attacco contro suo fratello, ma Pandora lo colpisce alle spalle col tridente:
"Stop it now! I will not let you harm Lord Hades! Saint of Andromeda is a fake. Die! Saint of the Phoenix!"
Ad un tratto, Pandora viene respinta indietro: le catene di Andromeda si sono disposte intorno a Ikki per proteggerlo.
"What? That is... Rolling Defence?! How can this be? The forsaken Cloth Chain actually came back to protect
the Saint of the Phoenix?"
"Shun."
"Brother... This way no one can obstruct us now. Quickly! In a while more my body will be fully dominated by Hades!" esorta Shun.
"What?"
"Brother."
"Shun."
"Don't be sad Brother. With just this one life of mine, we can save he whole world. So don't hold back. Brother, don't hold back."
"Shun."

C'è un flash back. Shun bambino è all'orfanotrofio e sta piangendo come suo solito perchè dovrà partire per l'addestramento.
"Brother, Brother."
"Shun, how can you do this?
"But... But..."
"Shun... No matter what, you must never give up. After all this testing, you must return to Japan."
"Yes, I'll look forward to the day Brother and I can reunite. I will look forward to it."
"Shun..."
Poi, Ikki si ricorda del Torneo Galattico, quando era diventato malvagio e aveva rubato la Sacra Armatura:
"The time when you received the Cloth, the tears you shred that day. It's only now that I understand your compassion. And your strength, Shun."

Tornando al presente:
"Shun..."
"Brother, for the peace of the people on the surface, attack me!"
"Shun, you... You said it well... That's I, Ikki, your brother and a true Saint of Athena that protects the Earth! Shun, for peace on Earth, I'm going to take your life!"
Finalmente Ikki si decide a colpire, dopo tutti queste lagne.
"No Ikki stop!" esclama Pandora.
"Shun!" esclama Ikki sil punto di colpire.
"Brother..."
"Shun... Forgive me!" piange Ikki.

Intanto, poco distante dalla Giudecca, anche gli altri cavalieri si accorgono della battaglia.
"What? What was that Cosmo?" si chiede Shiryu.
"Yes, it should be right. Ikki has killed Shun." risponde Hyoga.
"What is with this Cosmo?" chiede Minos nella Quinta Prigione.
"It's similar to the Saint of the Phoenix's Cosmo. But its is not consumed with fire but utter grief." commenta Rhadamantis.
Approfittando della distrazione, Kanon ne approfitta per scappare.
"Kanon! Run!" esclama Rhadamantis.
"Ikki... Don't tell me..." riflette Kanon.
"This Cosmo..." commenta Athena.
"Ikki... He... Shun..." sussurra Seiya nel Cocito.

"Shun... Rest in Peace! Shun... Forgive me!" frigna Ikki.
Il petto di Shun è appena stato trapassato dal suo pugno.
"How can this be?" piange Shun.
"Now, I shall take Hades out from your body. Hades! Come out now!"
Ikki estrae dal torace di Shun una sottospecie di radice, un piccolo Morlboro.
"This guy... Is this guys Hades?! You. How dare you take control of Shun's body! You... How dare you!" esclama Ikki furioso, scagliando il Morlboro a terra e schiacciandolo con un piede.
"Finally... Hades has finally been defeated... Shun... hang in there! I've defeated Hades." Ikki si avvicina al corpo di Shun, che è ancora vivo.
"Brother. That's great! This way..."
Sembra che si sia tutto risolto, ma Shun sputa del sangue.
"Shun!"
"Brother! Leave my body quickly! Hades is still..."
"What? What's happening?"
Questa volta, dal corpo di Shun fuoriesce un mostro, un incrocio tra un Alien e un Morlboro gigante.
"Is this Hades' real body?" esclama Ikki spaventato.

Nel frattempo, nel Cocito, Seiya sta proprio sognando Ikki che uccide Shun. Quando si sveglia, ha il dubbio se si tratti di un sogno o la realtà.
"Stop it! Stop it now! Just now, Ikki killed Shun... Then... Then this violence that is coming out from Shun's body is... Am I dreaming? Come to think of it, since Shun became Hades, I have not had any memories. Where exactly is this? What has happened to the Shun that has become Hades? Shun, are you ok?"

Il mostro fuoriuscito dal corpo di Shun è scomparso. Non è molto chiaro cosa sia successo, ma Ikki, all'ultimo momento, ha deciso di non uccidere Shun.
"Lord Hades! Ikki's punch has stopped... But to stop a punch at that speed, his fist must be greatly hurt. Saint of the Phoenix, why did your punch stop?" si chiede Pandora stupita.
Il pugno di Ikki è grondante di sangue.
"You are more ignorant than I thought you were. Compared to the billions of life on earth, is your brother's one life more important? Yet you gave up the opportunity to stop the Greatest Eclypse from becoming a reality." commenta Hades-Shun.
Il corpo di Shun è illeso. Probabilmente i Morlboro sono stati solo un'illusione nella mente di Ikki e nel sogno di Seiya. Lo spirito di Hades prende definitivamente possesso del corpo di Shun e i suoi capelli, da rossicci diventano neri. Ikki ha sprecato la sua unica occasione.
"What is this? Shun's hair has become pitch black. This look is just like when Saga turned from good to evil. Don't tell me..." commenta Ikki spaventato. Per pochi fotogrammi, compare l'immagine di Sagazzo.
"That's riht, Shun's body is now totally under me, Hades' control. Even a single strand of hair. Shun's entire soul has been detroyed!" spiega Hades.
"Shun!!"
Hades colpisce Ikki con lo sguardo, mettendolo subito a KO.
"Lord Hades, have you finally returned to your full bodily form?" chiede Pandora.
"Pandora, deal with this man's body with care. In a while, the eternal darkness will begin. The surface will become a place for the dead, the Underwold."

Hades sta tornando sul suo trono, quando gli compare davanti l'immagine di Athena la guastafeste.
"What? This Cosmo... Could it be..." esclama turbato.
"Ikki." sussurra Pandora con sguardo ebete, chinandosi sul corpo di Ikki privo di sensi.
"Is anybody... Is anybody there?" chiede Pandora rialzandosi.
Alle spalle di Pandora, compare Valentine:
"Yes Valentine is here."
"Bury Saint of Phoenix' body. Even though he is an enemy, but he still is Lord Hades' body's, Shun's Brother. Bury him with respect." ordina Pandora.
"I understand. Then..." risponde Valentine, caricandosi il corpo sulle spalle.
"Lord Hades. Lord Hades, is there anything else I can do for you?" chiede Pandora.
"No, I just had an uneasy feeling, but it should be me being over-sensitive."
"I am terribly sorry, you must be tired, Lord. Do you want to Elysion to rest?"
"No, I still want to rest here for a while. Don't let anyone else disturb me. You may take your leave now."
"Yes."
Hades si siede sul trono e chiude gli occhi. Pandora se ne va pensierosa:
"Then I shall make my move. Ikki..."

Dopo qualche minuto, Hades riapre gli occhi:
"Who's there? I said I didn't want and disturbances. Get out at once!"
Una voce risponde da dietro la porta:
"That would be very hard to do, cause it was really difficult for me to make my way here to see you."
"What? Who are you?" chiede Hades senza scomporsi.
"Gold Saint, Virgo Shaka." si presenta Shaka entrando nella sala del trono.
Hades sgrana gli occhi stupito.
"Hades, I am here to take your life!"
Hades sorride.

Intanto, nel Cocito, Seiya è ancora seppellito nel ghiaccio.
"My body's immobilised. I must think of a way to get out of here. I must deliver Athena's cloth to Miss Saori."
Ad un tratto, vede il corpo di Ikki sbattuto a terra:
"Who's that? Ikki?! Aren't you Ikki? Ikki! Wake up Ikki! Ikki!"
"You don't need to be surprised. This part of Hell was made for you Saints." spiega Valentine.
"What?"
"This is the 8the level of Hell, meant to imprison those who betray the Gods. So they have imprisoned many Saints
that have come against Lord Hades. Look closely around you."
"What? This is..." Seiya osserva parecchi cadaveri intorno a sè. Di essi rimane solo un teschio che spunta fuori dal ghiaccio.
"All this dead people were all once Athena's Saint's who weilded their fist at Lord Hades. This is the sad and bitter end of thousands of Saints that have died in the Holy Wars."
"Is the ice prison that was specially designed for Saints? Those that are imprisoned here were all once Saints who fought fo the love and peace of the Earth?"
"Not just the past." risponde Valentine, indicando più in là.
"Mu! Aiolia! Milo!"
Finalmente Seiya si accorge che lì sono seppelliti anche gli attuali Gold Saints, privi di sensi.
"That's right, there are also those who are living like you."
"How... How can this be?"
"Anyway, you will die sooner or later, just like those that are dead now. No, the Gold Saints should already be dead."
"You!" esclama Seiya furioso.
"I am Valentine, the Spectre of Harpy, Valentine. You should be praised for being able to make your way, but we'll probably never meet again."
Dopo essersi presentato, Valentine gli volta le spalle per andarsene.

"Wait! Let me out of here!" ordina Seiya.
"What nonsense."
"Valentine, don't you want Athena's Cloth?"
"Athena's Cloth?"
"That's right, the thing that you have been looking high and low for, the cloth designed just for Athena. If you defeat me, you can have it. Let me out of here and take Athena's cloth from me!"
"You really have it?"
"Yes, it is with me."
Valentine emana dei raggi luminosi dalla mano, rompendo il ghiaccio intorno a Seiya e tirandolo fuori.
"Where did you hide it?"
"Let me show it to you now!"
Cogliendolo di sorpresa, Seiya si scaglia su Valentine, tirandogli dei calci, ma questi schiva facilmente.
"You fool!"
"My body..." si lamenta Seiya.
"With kicks like that, you don't stand a chance against me. Hand over Athena's cloth now!"
"My whole's body's been froze. If this goes on, I may get killed." riflette Seiya ad alta voce.
"Hand it over now!"
Seiya espande il cosmo e sferra un pugno, ma Valentine schiva di nuovo.
"Don't you understand? Being locked up in, your body has been frozen to the lowest possible temperature. You have no more strength for battle." commenta Valentine, atterrandolo con dei calci. "Even if you don't hand it over, it's okay. I'll just beat you up till you can't move then take it from you. If you have handed it over from the start you won't have to suffer."
Valentine si china su Seiya, ma questi ri ribella e si rialza.
"Saint of Pegasus, what's the point of resisting? You will only increase your own suffering."
"Like I said, if you want Athena's cloth you must first defeat me. I have still not fallen. Even if my life is almost snuffed out, as long as there is still a little fire, I will not give up! Pegasus Meteor Fist!"
Valentine si difende facilmente.
"Are you tired of living or just faight till your last breathe? It doesn't matter, I'll just defeat you here! I'll snuff out every bit of fire that's left! Saint of Pegsus, watch out! Greed of Life!"
Seiya viene spazzato via da un fascio di luce viola e cade semi svenuto ai piedi di Valentine.

Intanto, alla Giudecca, Hades sta parlando con Shaka:
"Shaka, you've always been with Athena, haven't you? Where were you two before this?"
"We didn't think you would be in Hell, so Athena and I went to Elysion."
"You've had it hard. Elysion is a far off place upstream of the Acheron. Even for Athena, it was no easy feat to get there."
"Yes, we lost our way several times, but when we felt your Cosmo we hurried here."
"And where's Athena now?"
"For someone like you who's about to die, you don't have to worry about that. Capitulation of the Demon (Tenma Kofuku)! Sorry, I'm going to take your life now."
Shaka sta per scagliare il suo colpo, ma viene fermato da Athena, che si materializza nella stanza.
"Shaka Stop. You cannot attack Hades." ordina Athena.
"The Cosmo that I felt was really you, Athena." commenta Hades.
"Hades."
