Introduzione del narratore:
"Millions of light-years away, beyond millions of darknesses, lies an uninhabited world that is also known as the Underworld. They say that beyond those lie endless fields. Utopia, a place without wars, pain nor sadness. A holy sanctuary that has been protected for ages, where only the dead chosen by the Gods can enter. That place is called Elysion."

Anche Ikki sta attraversando il Muro del Pianto per buttarsi nell'Iperdimensione, quando viene raggiunto da Pandora.
"Wait, Ikki. Your body shall shatter into pieces if you go after Shiryu and the rest too. I've heard that the Phoenix Cloth
was able to regenerate itself. But that Cloth didn't receive Athena's blood." gli spiega Pandora la traditrice.
"That is true. But I have no choice but to go."
"I shall let you go to Elysion. But in return, I want you to avenge me. I beg you, lkki." piange Pandora appoggiandosi alle spalle di Ikki.

[The Gods of Death and Sleep]

Intanto, 6 spectre anonimi sono arrivati al Muro del Pianto, pronti all'assalto. Ma prima hanno una conversazione tra loro:
"Phoenix got to the other side of the Wall of Lamentation, you say?"
"Not only that. For some reason Pandora-sama is with him." dice il secondo
"They couldn't be thinking of fleeing to Elysion together?!"
"But why would Pandora-sama...?"
"I cannot believe it."

"To avenge you?" chiede Ikki senza neanche voltarsi.
"I can see clearly now." inizia a spiegare Pandora, con il rosario dai 108 grani in mano "Thirteen years ago, my whole family has been assassinated for Hades-sama's sake."
"Oh Pandora? Don't tell me that Hades used your body in the same way as Shun's."

Dopo alcune di immagini di Pandora al castello, inizia il flash back vero e proprio.
"Wait Adolf! Where are you going?" esclama la piccola Pandora con il cane al guinzaglio.
A un certo punto, il cane comincia ad innervosirsi e ad abbaiare.
"What's wrong, Adolf? We're not allowed to go there. Father would be angry."
"Very deep in the garden was a storeroom that father tried to keep me away from. I've been told that that storeroom hadn't been opened for two hundred years. But some strange forces opened the lock before my eyes that day. Then something drove me to enter that storeroom that time. Durante la narrazione, viene mostrato il lucchetto che si apre da solo davanti allo sguardo spaventato della piccola Pandora. Ma la paura non è stata abbastanza forte da allontanarla. Pandora entra titubante nel magazzino e apre lo scrigno, da cui fuorirescono una luce argentata e una luce dorata. Si tratta di cip e ciop... Thanatos e Hypnos. I due gemelli hanno ancora il volto in ombra.
"Pandora! We thank you for from that chest after two hundred years." dicono in coro i due gemelli.
"Who are you?"
"I am the controller of sleep, Hyphnos."
"I am the controller of death, Thanathos."
"Hyphnos and Thanathos?"
"Listen, Pandora. Soon your brother shall be born as the holder of Hades-sama's soul." spiega Thanatos.
"My brother shall be born as Hades-sama?"
"That is right. The ruler of the underworld shall be born from your mother's body." continua Hypnos.
"Pandora. You shall have to watch over Hades-sama's soul..." ordina Thanatos.
"until the time comes." completa Thanatos.
"What time?"
"Soon, in the east, the warriors of the underworld, the one hundred and eight specters shall revive." spiega Thanatos.
"That time, Hades-sama shall conquer the surface world." spiega Hypnos.
"Do you understand, Pandora? You shall lead the hundred and eight specters. Great knowledge shall be given to you." Thanatos.
"We shall let you watch over Hades-sama until the time comes." Hypnos
Pandora fa un cenno con la testa.
"If you do so eternal life shall be granted to you. Eternal life! Ahaha!" promettono in coro i due gemelli, prima di scomparire.
"Soon from my mothers womb, my brother, Hades-sama was born. The same day, all life without exception was erased from Einstein Castle. Not only the people and animals. But even the plants. Il cielo sopra il castello diventa nero e in giro di vedono i cadaveri dei servi, del cane, degli uccellini, dei genitori e le piante rinsecchite.

Tornando al presente...
"I understand it now. So that is why you were after Shun to find a new body for Hades." commenta Ikki.

Dopo aver versato qualche lacrima, Pandora annoda la sua collana al polso di Ikki, che resta lì fermo senza scomporsi.

You should fear Hades-sama's servants Thanathos and Hyphnos. Even the three judges are nothing compared to them. They are gods that have become his servants for some reason. "Im-Impossible. Hold on, Pandora. I shall take care of you."
Ikki scuote Pandora per le spalle, ma ormai c'è poco da fare.

Ecco che arrivano gli ultimi sei spectre, gli ultimi sfigati ancora rimasti in vita.
"Phoenix! You won't be using Pandora-sama any longer! We cannot allow traitors to live! We shall avenge you in the name of Hades-sama, so we can receive eternal life!" esclamano.
"Utopia? Eternal life? Do you bastards really believe those things exist?!" risponde Ikki.
"Die Phoenix!"
"Hou Yo Ku Ten Shou!!"
Ikki uccide i 6 spectre con un sol colpo, poi raccoglie il rosario che era caduto a Pandora.
"Foolish Hades followers. The colours of all of Shaka's pearls have finally changed. This means that all hundred and eight specters have perished. Pa-Pandora! Pandora, you can finally forget all of your sorrows. I promise you we'll certainly destroy Hades his ambitions! So, please, rest in peace, Pandora."
Pandora nel frattempo è morta, uccisa dalla telecinesi di Thanatos. Ikki le mette il rosario tra le mani e si butta nell'Iperdimensione. Anche a lui spuntano le ali.

Intanto, nell'Elisio, Thanatos sta suonando la lira, quando due ninfe corrono da lui spaventate:
"Thanathos-sama! Thanathos-sama! It is terrible!"
"What is the matter, my dear? Did Cupid tease you again?"
"That's not it, Thanathos-sama. We have seen somebody full of mud and... Just over there!"
"What did you say?"
"It was just like an Ashura from hell has come over here. It's terrible."
(Note: Ashura: a sort of demon or a situation of confusion and disorder.)
Poco più in là, Seiya sta vagando affaticato nel prato, quando incontra un ninfa.
"Oye? Where in Elysion am I? Do you know where Athena is? Where is Hades? Did you see a man called Shun, wearing a Cloth just like me? I beg you. Please tell me. Oye!" le chiede insistentemente.
La ninfa scappa spaventata senza neanche rispondergli.

Poco dopo, arriva Thanatos:
"I don't like the way you scare my nymphs. This is Elysion, a place for the pure. It's only normal that you're being mistaken for ashura, being covered with blood like that. Because of that, my dear nymphs have stopped singing for me."
"Who are you?"
"My name is Thanathos."
"Thanathos, you say? What are those silver coloured eyes and hairs? Are you a specter?" chiede Seiya incavolato.
"I am not a specter. I am one of the divine servants that Hades-sama has been trusting for centuries." risponde Thanatos tranquillo.
"A servant? Then you must talk! What happened to Athena? Hades took her with him?!"
"She died. My companion, Hyphnos, must be taking care of her as we speak."
"Impossible! Don't tell lies! Where is Hades?!"
Seiya si avvicina furioso, ma Thanatos lo atterra con una semplice emanazione di cosmo.
"Fool! I do not have to answer to any of your questions. I must admit that it is a miracle that you have been able to pass the Wailing Wall, the dimensional path and arrived here. I praise your loyalty to Athena. Now you shall join Athena in death."

Thanatos sta per dare il colpo di grazia a Seiya, quando viene interrotto da Hypnos:
"Wait."
"Hyphnos?!"
"Hyphnos, he said? Are they twins? They look so alike. Only difference is that Hyphnos his eyes and his hair are made of shiny gold." osserva Seiya in silenzio e ancora a terra.
"Thanathos, this is a holy sanctuary where no blood has been shed since the era of the gods. What are you going to tell Hades-sama if you would soil this place with the blood of a Saint?" spiega Hypnos.
"Oh, Hyphnos. Are you saying that l would have to let this Saint run around freely? Elysion would be soiled even more like that."
"Thanathos. You wipe out lives too carelessly and unnecessarily. Why did you murder Pandora?"
"What did he say? Has Pandora been murdered?!" riflette Seiya in silenzio.
"Why did I kill her, you ask me? Hyphnos, you know the answer to that. Pandora betrayed Hades-sama and allowed the Saint, Phoenix, to enter Elysion." risponde Thanatos.
"Ikki is??!" pensa Seiya, in una comoda posizione per origliare.
"How insignificant it might be, we cannot allow him in the underworld." spiega Thanatos
"That is right. But Pandora has protected Hades-sama's soul all this time. So wasn't it unnecessary to take away her life? Now that all hundred and eight specters have been annihilated, Pandora was harmless to us." ribatte Hypnos.

"It is true that we have captured Athena. But we haven't taken her life yet."
"What?! Foolish! Why haven't you killed her at once?! You do understand that Athena came all the way to Elysion to take
Hades-sama's life?!" Thanatos cade dal pero.
"I thought l told you already. This is a holy sanctuary where no blood has been shed since the time of the gods! The determination of her life or death lies in Hades-sama's hands!"
"Then Athena will?!"

"Well then!? What did you do with Athena?! Answer me! Where is Athena?!" interviene Seiya rialzandosi.
"She is in the temple you can see in the distance. That is also the place where Hades his true body has been sleeping since the time of the gods." gli risponde Hypnos.

I due gemelli lo osservano mentre corre e decidono tranquillamente sul da farsi.
"Hyphnos. You aren't going to let Pegasus reach Hades-sama's temple, I hope. We have no choice but to soil these grounds with the blood of a Saint. I shall kill him. Any objections?" chiede Thanatos.
"Do as you wish. But Thanathos, if you do it, you must keep it clean. Whatever you do, you cannot hurt Hades's holy grounds."
"You speak unnecessary words, Hyphnos. How much effort would it take to kill just one bronze Saint? It's like it has already
been taken care of! Just watch, Pegasus is already done for."

Thanatos lancia una sfera alle spalle di Seiya, ma alla sua armatura spuntano di nuovo le ali, permettendogli di schivarla.
"What?! What are those?" si chiede Thanatos.
"Take this! Thanathos! Pegasus Ryuu Sei Ken!!"
Seiya si gira in rovesciata e lancia il suo colpo, ma Thanatos lo blocca.
"Useless! Damn you, Pegasus!" sbraita Thanatos.
"Didn't I just tell you, Thanathos?! That Pegasus has the power of desperation enforcing him. That means that even you shouldn't take him so lightly." gli spiega Hypnos.
"Impossible! I, Thanathos, shall not be underestimated! Take this!! Fool! How many do you think you can dodge?!"
Thanatos lancia diverse sfere di energia. All'inizio Seiya riesce a evitarle, ma alla fine le sua ali si rompono, facendolo precipitare a terra.
"Your wings have been shattered to pieces now. You cannot run away any longer!" commenta Thanatos soddisfatto.
"Athena. Sister!" sussurra Seiya prima di collassare al suolo.
"Athena's Saint Pegasus. It looks like you were an ambitious one." commenta Hypnos andandosene via.

Intanto, al Grande Tempio stanno osservando l'eclissi, che è a tre quarti.
"Shit. The eclipse is almost complete!" commenta Geki.
"What could Seiya and the rest be doing, Sansho?!" si chiede Ichi.
"Stop complaining. They must be fighting with everything they've got. You guys must know that." risponde Shaina.
"That's right. We must believe in Seiya's victory." concorda Jabu.
"By the way, Marin. Where have you been hiding all this time? Seiya was searching for you all this time!" chiede Shaina.
"I am not the one Seiya is searching for." le risponde Marin.
"What?"
"Kiki!" chiama Marin.
"Yes ma'am!" risponde Kiki.
"What?!" chiede ancora Shaina.
"Over here." Kiki mostra agli altri una ragazza incappucciata.
"So beautiful!" commenta Ichi.
"Marin, who is this girl?" chiede Shaina.
"She is the one that Seiya has been looking for all this time."
"What did you say? That means that this girl is Seiya's??!"
"Her name is Seika. She is Seiya's sister!"
"Seiya's sister?! Seika?"

Thatatos atterra di nuovo Seiya.
"Take this!! Let's stop playing around now. I shall give you the final blow, Pegasus!"
"Does it end here? Does it really end here?" pensa Seiya disperato.
"Seiya. Seiya!" una voce femminile lo chiama.
"Athena?"
"Seiya! Seiya!"
"I cannot forget this voice. This voice is? This voice belongs to? My? This is my? My one and only?"
Seiya riconosce la voce della sorella e si rialza per lo stimolo psicologico.
"What?! I cannot believe that you still have the strength to stand on your feet, after being struck that many times by my attacks." commenta Thanatos stupito.
"I won't die. I cannot die yet. I still have things I must do! I still have a person I need to meet!"
"Die, Pegasus!" Thanatos lancia una sfera di energia.
"BURN! My Cosmo! Pegasus Ryuu Sei Ken!"
Tanti fulmini di Pegasus contro un'unica grossa sfera, ma...
"Is this it?! Do you think you can defeat me, Thanathos, with that?! What?! Pegasus numerous meteors became one?! What is this technique?! Pegasus!?"
Seiya respinge l'attacco di Thanatos e sferra il contrattacco.
"PEGASUS SUI SEI KEN!!"
Thanatos viene colpito.
