WHAT'S THIS?
It's the second fighting game for PlayStation2,
released in October 2006.
It's about the oav of Hades chapter Sanctuary
and the first part of chapter Inferno.
It was developed by Dimps Corporation
and released by Bandai Namco Games and Atari. Uncommonly,
it has been released first in Europe and then in Japan.
Maybe the Japanese version will have new options.
COMMENTS
The European version, unluckily, is copied from the previous version,
Saint Seiya Sanctuary, ma in peggio. The graphic is a little improved and
there are new modes (arcade, survival...), but...
- There are 49 characters, but actually they are mainly from the previous
version, with the same drawings. They have only different outfit: first
cloth, second cloth, final cloth, gold cloth of Bronze Saints (so 20 different
characters instead of 5). The only new characters are Rhadamantis, Minos,
Aiacos and Orpheus. Kanon and Sion are the same of Saga and Mur.
With great sadness, there aren't the other Spectres. I hope they'll put
them in the Japanese version.
- I don't like the new combat style. I can't counterattack the big
bang attacks because it's too difficult.
- There aren't the bonus stages with soldiers any more. Further, it
has been toggled the Pope Mode I liked very much in the previous version.
- There are only 8 video instead of 30 in the previous version. The
story mode has long dialogs without animations.
- To unlock 100% of the game is very long and boring.
So, I suggest this game only for collectors. just to have Rhadamantis
in the party. To spend 50 euro it's useless, since there is a better prevois
version.
