After more than 10 years, TOEI starts again the old project of the third series and transforms it into a OAV. On 9-11-2002 the first episode will be broadcast on the pay satellitar channel SKY PerfecTV! ; the next episodes will be broadcast twice a month.

The OAV project has 13 episodes of 25-30 minutes each, about the first part of Hades chapter: the 12 Temples.
Maybe then, TOEI will make the rest.
The titles of the first two episodes are:
1) Atanaru seisen no hajimari (The start of a new Holy War)
2) Doukoku no sannin (The wailing three)

Il character design is always Shingo Araki and the soundtracks are the same (a cd about the third series had been already made). Only the opening and the ending have changed: instead of "Dead or Dead" and "Shine On" (maybe they will be used in the next Hades chapter) there are "Chikyuu Ki" as opening and "Kimi to Onaji Aozora" as ending, sung by Matsuzawa Yumi (who has done the opening of Nadesico and the songs of Gatekeeper).
The voice actors (seiyuu) of the Bronze Saints are the same, but there will be changes in the other characters because some seiyuu are no longer around (the voice actor of Mu is dead).

There will be 7 DVDs at all aboit these 13 episodes. The first DVD will be released on 25-1-2003, will cost 4800 yen, will have the first episode and some specials about the previous series; the firts edition will have also a special gadjet (Cloth strip).
The other DVDs will have two episodes and will cost 7800 yen each; we don't know when they will be released.
On december, they will remake the DVDs of the old series.
